By , February 3, 2015 11:41 am

Cricket Deal Direct is excited to announce that they have just signed a new 3 year exclusive partnership arrangement with SM Cricket Ltd. The deal will give Cricket Deal Direct exclusivity over the SM brand in both the UK and Europe until 2018. This is wonderful news as the relationship has grown and developed significantly since Cricket Deal Direct first started working with SM back in 2012.

The SM brand is growing rapidly in the UK as a growing number of professional cricketers have experienced the quality of the SM products. Word is spreading and all eyes will be on Preston Mommsen, the Scotland captain who will be using his range of SM blades in the World Cup down under. We wish Preston every success.

Together with SM we will soon be launching our very own unique range of women’s cricket equipment next month, This is very exciting and the new range will soon be on its way to the UK. More details to follow on this significant development.

In recognition of the new deal with SM they have provided a few quotes which demonstrate the value to each other of this growing relationship.

Sanyam Mahajan one of the SM owners said ” Our Mission embodies SM and CDD’s determination to realize dreams in a close bond while coexisting in complete harmony. Based on this SM and CDD is pursuing innovation in order to become  value brand partners with a superior value proposition.

Sanyam also said ” You can’t play a symphony alone, it takes an orchestra to play it. SM Cricket / CDD – Play on!

In Anderson, Managing Director of Cricket Deal Direct commented ” this is wonderful news as the relationship gets stronger and stronger. With the SM brand awareness growing all the time 2015 is going to be a very interesting year.

We are continually looking for new Sales Associates in many parts of the UK to help grow the brand. If of interest please call Ian on 07711 681136

SM family continuing to grow with great success

By , July 11, 2014 10:10 am

Last week our Professionals hit the news with some great scores using SM bats – this week it’s the turn of 2 of our younger rising stars. India Whitty playing for Finchley Gunns scored 102 not out, her maiden century. India is scheduled to attend England training at Loughborough University very soon with another of our SM players Sophia Dunkley – both currently using the SM Players Pride bat.

Then along comes Luke! – Luke Chapman, from Knebworth CC had an amazing weekend, again with his SM Players Pride. Luke scored 41 not out for the 1st XI on Saturday then on Sunday carried his bat scoring 114 not out – another maiden century. Luke also made his debut for the CCC Under 25′s this week and took a wicket with his first ball – congratulations Luke.

More updates this weekend!

Harrisons season so far with his SM gear

By , July 19, 2013 8:51 am

Harrison recently had a school tour to Guernsey where they played games against a Guernsey select side
yr 8/9 where Harrison made 60, and took 3 wickets, on return he made 51 not –out
against Bilton Grange school and then in our annual u12’s inter island game
against Guernsey he made 52 not –out and took 3 wickets. The following week he
played for the Jersey u13’s in their inter insular against Guernsey again and
made 38 not – out, both games resulting in wins for Jersey.

We recently had Middlesex CCC come to the island and play two
matches against Jersey and Harrison was lucky enough to train with and be
coached by some of the Middlesex players, one of which was Joe Denly,
attached is a photo of Harrison with Joe Denly. Middlesex were very
impressed with Harrison and in the near future we are hoping to have forged
links with Middlesex and Harrison will get the chance to go to England and train
with them.

Update on Nick Greens season with his SM gear

By , July 16, 2013 9:39 am

Its been a while since we last gave you an update on how Nick is getting on this year.
His school cricket has now finished and it went very well, Nick scored 221 runs including 2 scores
of 62 and another of 54, he also took 5 wickets in 18 overs, they tend to not
let him bowl too many overs as he is too quick for most of the other teams and
they want to give other bowlers a chance.
County cricket has not started yet, he missed the first game through injury in mid
June. However,  he is now fit and well and has 2 games coming up next week on the
23rd and 25th July against Shropshire and then Worcestershire respectively. with
another 5 possible county games after that.
He has been very busy with games for Market Deeping juniors and seniors.
So far this year Nick has scored 376 runs for the club.  This is made up of 316 for the senor sides
and 60 for the junior teams.
Nick has top scored in several senior games this year and on Sunday 14th July scored his first 50
for the club, scoring 84 for our sunday 2nd team. this is his highest score in
any form of the game. This followed 41 for our Saturday 2nd team the day before.
He has also done very well with his bowling for Deeping’s senior sides. After scoring 84 on Sunday he
then took 3 wickets for no runs from 2 overs. In all games for Deeping he has
bowled 65.2 overs 16 maidens 193 runs and  23 wickets, so far.
Nick set himself a target of 1000 runs for the year and is currently well on the way with over 600
runs scores already and he still has potentially 22 games to play this year, he
should easily beat his target. Nick is currently the third highest run scorer
for the club in any age group this season.
With the amount of runs Nick is scoring you can imagine that he is extremely pleased with the Bat
and all the kit you have provided. He really is impressed with how well the bat, SM SWAGGER SIZE6,
goes, the pads, SM WRECKER and gloves, SM SWAGGER are very comfortable as well.
Good luck Nick for the rest of the season and lets hope for the 1000 runs from your SM Swagger bat
